A note to our Customers regarding coronavirus (COVID-19):

As we are all experiencing an unprecedented event and increased uncertainty caused by Coronavirus (COVID-19), putting safety and security first is the commitment we will continue to make for our team and our valued customers. We have taken aggressive actions to implement safety steps in an effort to keep our work environment and interactions with our customers as safe as possible.

Securing your Home

As we all know Houston is no stranger to crisis.  We have weathered many challenges before and we will weather this one too.  While Houston is our home and the focus of our operations, we provide top tier monitoring using multiple phone service centers ready to respond 24/7. Our monitoring system utilizes bi-coastal monitoring centers to provide redundancy, not only for our advanced technologies, but more importantly to ensure uninterrupted service. Should there be a sudden drop in personnel for any reason, the Central Monitoring Station’s Interactive Voice Response system will be employed to address notification and burglary signals, freeing available Specialists to handle critical events and dispatching.

Though all these elements of preparedness are routine for us, we are taking additional actions in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).  We have shared all of the preventative and hygiene recommendations from the CDC and WHO with our staff as they were issued. We have also met with all team leaders and personnel to discuss the implementation of these recommendations.

Should you need onsite service, our teams are ready and with our Essential Business designation from The Department of Homeland Security, we will keep our service teams working during regular business hours.  

All of our sales and field service employees are following the CDC’s best hygiene practices.  They will be prepared with additional supplies, such as gloves and sanitizer, and as is our standard, we will clean all areas of the home they come in contact with during the consultation, installation or service call.  We will also contact you prior to the service call to verify that we will be able to enter the home.  Please know that safety and security is first and foremost; so should you be under self-quarantine, feeling ill, or have an occupant in the home feeling ill, we will reschedule for a later date.

We are also offering virtual Technology Consultations and Security Orientations, should you prefer to meet remotely.

If for any reason you are unable to reschedule before our technician arrives, we ask that you notify him or her before they enter your home. Our technicians will determine in conjunction with you whether it’s safe to perform the scheduled service or if we need to reschedule.

We are reminding our team daily of the CDC Guidelines:

  • Stay home if feeling ill;
  • Wash hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds;
  • Use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol;
  • Cover coughs and sneezes appropriately;
  • Sanitize commonly used tools and surfaces regularly
